Results – and our Next Tournaments

Thanks to everyone who participated in our last tournament on Saturday at Holy Trinity; we had a good time and saw some great individual performances, even though as a team we scored pretty low (67 points versus 85 points at the previous tournament).  Results are at the bottom of this post.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, we are heading into the home stretch of the year for our tournaments!  Below you will find the students who will be participating in FINALS (March 6th) and ALL-STARS (March 13th), along with the backups.  If your student cannot make it, please let me know ASAP.

You can find directions here to Butler Catholic High School in Butler, PA.  The tournament registration starts at 9:00am, and it takes about 45 minutes to get up there from SJS.  If you are interested in carpooling, we will be meeting at the SJS parking lot at 8:00am SHARP to depart.  Please let me know if your student needs a ride.

NOTE:  The Novice Tournament, in which our 5th and 6th grade students will be performing (many for the first time!), has been moved from March 27th to APRIL 10th; it will still be held at St Ursula School (directions here).  I hope this move will not throw off too many schedules.  Please let me know if this changes your student’s ability to participate.

Sorry that this date snuck up so fast, but with work and the weather, I fell a bit behind.

Our next tournament is scheduled for this Saturday, February 20, 2010, at Holy Trinity school in McKees Rocks.  You can find directions here, and as usual, we will be meeting at the Saint James School parking lot at 8:00am sharp to caravan/carpool together.  If your student needs a ride, please let me know ASAP!

As with our past tournaments, the team we are allowed to take is smaller than the number of students we have, so I am prioritizing by grade of the student and whether or not they have had a chance to perform in a past tournament.
